Ag Technology Solutions is dedicated to advancing precision farming in Western Australia. We proudly offer Weedit spot spraying technology, a cutting-edge solution designed to minimize chemical use by targeting only weeds. With this technology, farmers can increase efficiency, reduce costs, and promote sustainability. Our expert team provides both sales and technical support, helping clients fully leverage this innovative solution for more precise and responsible farming.
Once you’ve got the system (retro)fitted, you will benefit from much more applications and solutions than just spot spraying. Our integrated PWM technology also enables nozzle specific regulation of the application rate irrespective of the pressure in the spray line. With a constant pressure, the droplet size is kept constant, while the PWM regulates the flow of each individual nozzle. PWM also allows for turn compensation when spraying corners and irregular shaped fields.
WEED-IT Quadro always perfectly integrates with new and existing self-propelled sprayers of among others Agco/Fendt, Agrifac, Amazone, Apache, Case IH, Goldacres, Hagie, Hardi, Horsch, Jacto, John Deere, Kuhn, Miller, New Holland, PLA, Stara and many more.
WEED-IT’s dual spray mode is ideal if your work window is tight and if you want to combat every single (volunteer) weed in just one pass. With just one type of spraying mixture in your tank and one spray line, you can spot spray single weed plants and, at the same time, eliminate volunteer weeds and crop residues from root crops effectively. WEED-IT is one of the very few systems capable of dual spraying with just one spray line.
In cover mode or incrop mode, a WEED-IT equipped sprayer is capable of doing everything a normal sprayer does. The sprayer switches on and off by means of manual or automatic section control and applies a fixed or a variable application rate. Sections are switched on and off by hand or by gps. As WEED-IT always incorporates individual nozzle control, individual sections are as small as 25 or 50 centimetres (10 – 20 inches). Another standard feature – since 1999 – are the PWM controlled nozzles. PWM enables sprayer operators to maintain a set application rate independent to the vehicle speed. Thus: while accelerating, slowing down and while spraying in curves and corners, the PWM technology ensures that each individual plant gets the same targeted quantity and droplet size.
WEED-IT Quadro seamlessly integrates with your new and existing self-propelled sprayer(s). By experience, we know what works for your sprayer and how to best fit the technology to your spray boom. Ensuring that the boom balance is maintained and that folding in and out goes as smoothly as you were used to prior to adopting WEED-IT.
